Well, I built a few boards (a few months ago, actually). I haven't done any more since then. The thing is, I don't know if it's worth the time. It's more difficult to install. They sell slowly. I make hardly any money from them. There's plenty of other things I'd rather spend my time on.

Some people would still pay a premium for this kind of mod. True they may sell slowly, but I'm sure it'd be less of an issue if you were to sell in bulk to people who are willing to install for a fee.

You don't sell directly thus saving you the time of installing these boards.

If you did get them to work on a new 3ds would the c stick work with every game that used the circle pad pro?

Wondering what the status on this was? And/or if anyone has done this yet and if they have a guide of some sort.

I'll probably end up doing this at some point but would rather have some sort of reference so I don't screw up too much.

@loopy is the N3DS going to be apart of your future releases? Is the 3DS and the N3DS too different to use your existing guides for reference?

I've started working on it. A different board needs to be designed for the N3DS.

The n3ds/xl emulates the CPP with the new cstick. Any old game that used CPP is able to use the cstick (some sort of software hack they did to emulate CPP). I am pretty positive the CPP does not work though.

The New 3DSXL is a couple mm wider than the older XL models. An older circle pad pro won't fit on the new models. If it could, it would be pressing on the zl and zr buttons anyway.
