I was wondering from ordering to getting the 3ds again, how long does the process take?

Is it still possible to mod the console with different software after the capture card is installed or is it not recommended?

Does the ds capture card, capture games in the gba slot and is the 3Ds capture card for other versions of the 3ds like the 3dsxl or first model?
