Both models of the 3DS output a picture of 400x240 for the top screen (800x240 if recording in 3D) and 320x240 for the bottom.

Making the footage HD ready is up to you, but it can be done easily in the editing stage.

They're still in stock, it's only the pre-modified 3DS + boards that aren't available.
