The 3DS doesnt get updated. The firmware isnt touched when installing a capture board.

The add on for the Gamecube (GBA player) plays all gameboy games and you can hook that up to a capture card to play on a monitor.

Just wondering if 2ds is something that you plan on doing and selling. Cant really find any information about 2ds capture besides that Katsukity site that says they will have it by end of feb. Here in Australia i can pick up a second hand 2ds for roughly about $70-$80, so it would be alot more feasi...
