This is really just another reason for me to hate region locks.
Just take my entire wallet, Loopy. Haha.

It isn't causing a heat-up for you?loopy wrote:Hmm, odd. USB connector is a little worn out, but aside from that it seems to be working fine.

USB Capture Board is causing a power surge.
My Japanese Ice White 3DS Capture board when connected causes a power surge very often. It even burned me a little when I disconnected the USB cable. I thought it was the cable. But I tested it with two different cables, and said same cables on my American Red 3DS capture board. It worked fine. Shou...

3ds capture board outside screws?
I was able to get replacement screws for the "semi-stripped" screws for the 3DS.
However, I don't think it included the "cover" screws, which I assume is the same ones you used for the cover of the capture board.
What's the size for them, loopy?

It was like that after you got the shoulder buttons fixed? You probably just need to reseat the cable that goes to the board. I'll take a look at it if you want, but you can probably fix it yourself. I'll send it to you if I can't fix it myself. Thank you very much! I decided to look at it one last...

So, I actually didn't go through with replacing the shoulder buttons by myself on my American 3DS. I got my local store to do that for me. However... http://i.imgur.com/YIVNbqk.png Top screen issues. ...Loopy, can I send it to you to fix? ...I just looked! Not only that, there are two screws missing...

Should I tape it down again with double stick tape once I'm done?loopy wrote:Older capture boards were taped down (I don't do this anymore, the cases fit better now). Pry it off slowly, it should come off eventually.
I mean I did have one of the older capture boards.

L and R button issues...
So we know the shoulder buttons on the DS Lite from my experience.... and now the original 3DS wears out after a few years. I was careful with my Japanese 3DS with a capture board and gave it to a repair place. But I saw on iFixit that shoulder buttons aren't that hard. Whether just to access it to ...
