My Japanese Ice White 3DS Capture board when connected causes a power surge very often. It even burned me a little when I disconnected the USB cable. I thought it was the cable. But I tested it with two different cables, and said same cables on my American Red 3DS capture board. It worked fine. Shou...

I was able to get replacement screws for the "semi-stripped" screws for the 3DS.

However, I don't think it included the "cover" screws, which I assume is the same ones you used for the cover of the capture board.

It was like that after you got the shoulder buttons fixed? You probably just need to reseat the cable that goes to the board. I'll take a look at it if you want, but you can probably fix it yourself. So, I actually didn't go through with replacing the shoulder buttons by myself on my American 3DS. I got my local store to do that for me. I was careful with my Japanese 3DS with a capture board and gave it to a repair place. But I saw on iFixit that shoulder buttons aren't that hard. Whether just to access it to ...
