3DS' CCs won't work post Windows 10 update
Hi all, So around a few months ago Windows 10 forced an update which completely botched my laptop. My webcam wouldn't work, microphone, numerous programs and clients wouldn't work but also both my capture card types (3DS and DS) also wouldn't connect. I got most of the problems solved but still havi...

Re: Capture Device not found
Is your USB input 2.0 or 3.0?
If it's 3.0, there are times when low level devices such as the 3DS and DS original won't be recognised. Try different USB ports.
Have you tried uninstalling and then booting to Safe Mode to then install again?

Re: Capture Device not found
The issue here is that your computer hasn't recognised the 3DS. It's highly unlikely that the 3DS itself is the problem. It's perhaps the driver not installing correctly. https://s9.postimg.org/4i9n8ei0v/Untitled.png image search Uninstall the driver, restart your computer and then install it again....

Re: Best Settings for video output?
Thank you much! Im trying the steps you have suggested! I am having some problems though with some of them. After I up the temporal quality up to full, I click on it again it shows that it is back at 75%.... so I dont know what is happening there. And the app is showing at the top of my task manage...

Re: Top screen issue
Sounds like a hardware issue. I'd contact Loopy if you purchased the device from him.sonicsam234 wrote:It was a hardware issue, but it has evolved into the top screen going past the brightness limit and causing the battery to over heat. This also causes the 3ds to lose all its power randomly.

Re: Headphones make audio not record
I actually had a similar issue which resulted in me re-installing my Sound card drivers.
It may be that your audio is being redirected to another Playback device once your headphones are plugged in however. Check that the playback default device is your Speakers/Default device.

Re: Best Settings for video output?
Some tips capturing via the 3DS software would be; - Experiment with your Codecs. Most people use the lossless logarith codec (downloadable) though it's typically for 60fps captures. - Video settings > Quality = 100% - Video settings > Configure... > Temporal quality = Max - Ensure your 3DS software...

3DS muted audio
Hi all,
Is it possible to mute the 3DS at all and still have it recorded via OBS?
I like to watch films/videos etc whilst using the 3DS and sadly I can't seem to configure it this way.
Thanks.

Re: ds capture audio problem
I'm going to hazard a guess and say you need a new audio cable. Either that or the audio jack isn't fully inserted in to the DS due to the small overhand of the upper shell.
I actually had a similar issue though mine was much worse than yours. A new audio cable sorted it for me.
