The bottom DS is a mini USB and the top one looks to be a micro. It seems too flat and round to be mini.

In which case, I am now unsure which device this is. I'm only going to assume Katsukity at this point since it's a Japanese 3DS, it has the mini USB port, and the Loopy software and driver didn't work. I'm going to try to get a hold of the seller now.

If both use mini usb's, then why does Loopy sell micro USB's?

I am an absolute idiot. I realized that, based on the type of USB cable that I have plugged into my 3DS, this is actually a katsukity model, I believe. So I disabled the driver signature enforcement and applied the driver and it is now called 3DS Capture instead of Unknown Device but is still under unspecified. What now? When I right-click and hit troubleshoot, windows cant detect a problem so why isn't it working?

I tried to link the software with the driver but the driver has no digital signature, so this happened.

I am from the U.S. It is a Japanese 3DS, though. Does that have something to do with it? If not, could I send it into Loopy to check it and possibly repair it?
