Anyone heard any news as to which 3ds will get the capture cards? whether its the 3ds XL or the "new" 3ds XL?

Possibility of 2ds capture cards
I sift through the forums everyday hoping to find new info on the 2ds capture cards. I know you're probably tired of hearing it, but is there a possible chance a 2ds capture card will be available befor pokemon S/M?
