It would be just a straight-across solder, right? I'm only asking because I honestly don't know.

I had my Katsukity card looked at, to find that there is a tear on the flex ribbon cable.

Am I screwed or is there way to fix it? TIA

Well, crap components are easier to damage easily :P I've seen katsukity saying elsewhere that his boards are hand assembled (which is bonkers IMO), so there's that... Fixing it is a fairly simple procedure. I've had my own share of repairs to do ... shit breaks, I understand. I don't mean to badmo...
