Re: Can't Kill 3ds cap process
I will just give this little tidbit on force closing software. Have you terminal window open. Type: top you will get a list of running programs listed under a PID. Jot down somewhere the PID of the program you want to force close. On the terminal push q to reset the terminal. Afterwards type this: k...

Re: I am not a Katsukity repair service
Okay this thread made me laugh. I have no clue why anyone buys from that guy. A little patience will save a lot of frustration in the end. As for a 3DS XL, there is no real difference for video output to the original. So people should just work with the original 3DS. I know some only own XL's, but f...

Re: Audio/Video issues, trying to record on Mac, Loopy Help!
What specs are you running? I know the device requires a lot of cpusage. I am using an old macbook running at 4 GB of ram and this is the best I can get https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LAi4WHwb3kI Also a screen capturing software would work better than the software itself. You would have no audio sy...

Re: Mac Version
One thing I wanted to ask is that what is the frame rate the mac software is streaming 3DS footage at. I am bit curious on that. I know by default it tries to record at 30 so I wanted a clarification on that. Also if adding features is open, then perhaps is it possible for the software to stream at ...

Re: Mac Version
If I would work on the Mac version once more, what would be your wishes in order of importance? I cannot promise dedication though, even though it is certainly an interesting project to work on. However, I would be more than happy to share the source code with people. I would be interested in looki...

Re: Recording Tutorial?
Depends what you are looking for. What is it that you are trying to record? If you are asking for setup of the 3DS capture, then its simple. Download and install software Connect USB to 3DS to Computer. !!Warning : DO NOT have it connected during a system update. Connect a male to male audio cable f...

Re: Any tips to retain quality while upscaling?
Probably just look it up. I use a mac so I can't use it and so am stuck with after effects. I thought I edited my other post, dang. I did have to use filters and select the codec. It worked great and the quality is fantastic. Thank you so much I appreciate it, VDub really saved my butt. No problem....

Re: Any tips to retain quality while upscaling?
The issue with Adobe Premiere Pro is nearest neighbor vs bilinear upscaling. Adobe only does bilinear by default and there is no easy method to upscale using nearest neighbor. If you want an easy way to scale footage, I recommend using virtualdub with the Logarith lossless codec installed. Another m...
