Re: Question on setup for recording on a mac

Yeah, I noticed. What I ended up doing is a sudo command to prioritize the 3ds software and use an efficient screen cap. I will look into bootcamp, but for now it has very little lag. No biggie since I don't really plan to record much for now. I have a sample here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kB...

Re: Mac Version

I will need to find a iso of windows xp 7 or 8. Never owned any other computer. Thanks for the advice. Edit: Okay after looking into it carefully, my screen recorder is recording it fine. The software that streams it is the problem. So I guess running it on bootcamp is the way to go. Still need to f...

Question on setup for recording on a mac

Hey so I was trying it out and it seems the device has a heavy cpu usage when running on the mac. The recorder on the software lags a lot and so wanted to ask advice on any alternatives. When the mac software runs on its own it looks fine, just when it records. I tried quicktime marking at about 25 ...

Re: Mac Version

I am just posting my findings on the mac software. I am tinkering with the mac software, but it looks like it uses quite a bit of ram to perform. I tried setting it to 29.97 frame rate, but it appears altering from the original makes it stuck in finalization. I tried a 2 minute recording and after 4...

Re: Loopy vs Katsukity

Considering I am a mac user only. I could look at how well Loopy's performs. If Katsukity recommend virtualization, then that is an issue seeing how it can be a bit of a hassle getting recording software to work that way. Also a lot more cpu usage.

Re: Loopy, PSP Capture Board?

Never been a fan of emulators. Anyways, work with what works best. Keep in mind doing an emulator requires a lot on a pc. So consider that. Exactly what are you trying to record and for what? LPing

If so, we could talk since I have some experience on that.

Re: Loopy, PSP Capture Board?

Recording depends on how you do it. Its best to record the footage in original scale, then use a program like this: http://www.virtualdub.org/ You upscale the footage by a multiple of 2 and render it by nearest neighbor. Doing so does not hurt the overall quality. Also the capturing device kinda mat...

Re: Loopy, PSP Capture Board?

Doesn't the 2000-3000 models can stream via component with a wire. If you have either models, capture via component, and the wire then your good to go.
