Re: What games do you record?

Happy holidays to you and everyone here. In terms of 3DS games, nothing in particular at the moment. A few test records for QA. Maybe down the line when I can get a better laptop, I want to do Kid Icarus Uprising. Most lps or walkthroughs of the game are usually casual and I kinda want to show the g...

Re: What do you upscale to for your 3ds footage?

Looks simple enough. It is no different then learning a new programming language. Just need to read up on function calls, its fields, and good old fashioned coding standards to make it neat and easy to read. Very nice tutorial you left there. I can see you take making videos seriously. Pretty uncomm...

You sir are great at using avisynth. I know it is a powerful tool that requires a steep learning curve to use. So kudos on that.

Re: What do you upscale to for your 3ds footage?

Why not just create a unique captured border for the video? Like the one I made for this video a while ago: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nAXxbKWoy_o Keeps the AR and keeps the quality at a good level. Probably because that format you presented is a tad small. Looking at it seems you kept it in t...

Re: Cute(3)DSCapture - A Capture Software for Linux and Mac

Not a big deal. My computer is too old to do 60 fps anyways. I just wanted to compare it with the other mac software. I am in no rush and have no desire to record anything from 3ds. I just like to tinker with things.

The application force closes before it even starts up. Something must be missing.

Re: What do you upscale to for your 3ds footage?

You need to use a set of specific instructions in adobe after effects to scale footage via neatest neighbor. Otherwise you get Bicubic by default which is stupid in my opinion. Premiere pro is incapable of doing nearest neighbor scaling, so you are SOL on that end. Another option in scaling is using...

Re: Loopy, what's up with 3DS XL capture cards!

What the cute cat avatar said. Also you don't have to do 3DS games right now. There is a ton of things you can do for videos in the meantime.
