You can set the language to English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, and Japanese. If you are going to buy a North American DS it is region locked to North American games. The original DS also came in an "Electric Blue" color.

What happens when you close the 3DS when recording? Because in some games I know its needed to close the DS in order to progress. Could be your usb cable is going bad, if you have another one try using it.

The capture card only works for the regular 3DS. They are being sold in the, "The "How do I buy one?" thread - link. You can buy the 3DS online and have it shipped to loopy, just tell him how to identify it, a tracking number works.

There is already a screenshot button, it captures both screens. If you want one for each of the separate screens you can just crop the screen you do not want out.
