3DS XL captured through Katsukity? my experience

So you thinking of getting a capture devices through Katsukity?
Not a good idea. At least one my opinion.


Ordered a PS Vita capture card with the vita, received it after a week, after several requests that I needed it quick.

Turned out that it was broken. Touch screen would not respond whatsoever. I hard reset, soft reset, fully charged, attempted all day long, touchscreen was NOT working.

I send the vita back to him on my own expenses, and he received it.

He is not willing to send back unless I tell paypal that I lied about broken item received. He refuses to send back a replacement. So I had to go through paypal to receive refunds.

I got refund, but he put the price of them item ridiculously high on the custom declaration form. I paid 120 pounds import charges to receive it. Just a comparison, UK 3G Vita is for sell.. 129 pound on shopto.

That's my experience with katsukity.
He was literally threatening me that he will sell the vita to another customer. I have screenshots of the conversation if anyone is interested.

Thanks loopy for your support and quick response. I hope you do ps vita and 3DS XL at some point. Cuz no way I will order from katsukity again.

Overall: I lost the shipping cost to send it back to him, custom charges and DHL charges for handling the custom shit. Which adds up to around £130

Horrible experience man.
At the end, I lost 130+ pound.

import tax, shipping return, etc.
130 is the UK price for a 3G vita

I ordered a PS Vita capture unit directly from him.
Paid Immediately, took 3 weeks to send it out (Tho this was october.. so pokemon rush), it has a little mark on the screen, everything still works and you can't even see it, you can sometimes feel it when your finger slides over it.
Other than that no complaints, :S sucks you got screwed like that man.

I have just been to a computershop with my dad they found the problem.
The cable from the main board to the mini usb was broken. You knew about this, according to the specialists in the computershop, because you tried to fix it with a bypass (see photo in attachement).

I hope you understand that we are really really disappointed that you did this. It had absolutely nothing to do with our software.
We hope you understand that we can only give Katsukity a bad review.

Having spend 280 dollars and then getting this in return is not done and no good promotion.)

Wow, doesn't surprise me at all! I recall that there was a big fiasco with katsukity vs. mew2king last year around the time when Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS came out. I will never recommend katsukity to anyone due to his shady practices.

You're lucky if your katsukitty board comes back working. Even luckier if it lasts longer than a week.

My personal experience has been the opposite. The only issue I've had is with the difficulty of finding a place that will ship CoD like he wants. I have an OG 3ds that's still running strong after 2 years and a n3ds coming back from him now that I'm not worried about having issues with.
