Maybe. Sometimes, Loopy doesn't reply back to Tecd0c for a while. Guess the pressure is taking its toll on Loopy since many people are waiting for him to release the O3DS XL and New3DS XL capture boards.

It looks like the card is based on Katsukity though.
Scroll down to the bottom and there's the software file for new3DSXL capture.

For reference, I believe Merki has had Katsu/keity cards listed on their website for quite some time, now. I remember seeing it a long while back.

So wait... Instead of waiting on an oldXL cap card, I should just get the NewXL one because Neal isn't planning on making it anyway (and it's currently available)? Guess I'm kinda torn between waiting on Neal (reliability/USA, but OldXL) and Keity (Outside of USA, but NewXL). Still a bit foggy on the team-up and whatnot.

It depend where you live. If i need to ship my OldXL to merki it will cost me 297euro = 447$ cad agaisnt 200$ usd = 274$ cad.
So it better waiting then spending twice the price and it a keity card from china which is bad quality ( that what most ppl said).

Shipped out my New 3DS XL to Merki on June 8 (US East Coast) using USPS Small Flat Rate Box, and it was successfully delivered to him (Germany) today! I know that Katsukity really hasn't gotten the best reviews at times, but Merki has received good ones, and it seems Katsukity has a revised New 3DS XL capture board, so hopefully the USB port will be more sturdy.

From what I read Merki has a two year warranty with the ones he sells unlike buying directly from the Japanese seller. So that's good too.

Yeah, it seems that he does. Will be good to keep in mind, especially since Merki is very easy to contact.
Just an update on my N3DSXL capture board installation. On the very same day Merki received my N3DSXL, he installed the capture board on it, and shipped it out the very same day. Since I paid for Express Shipping, it arrived two days later, and it works with no issue at all.
That being said, I might end up buying another N3DSXL in case the capture board fails within the warranty period and I need to ship it back to Merki, or if loopy ever released one of his on N3DSXL capture board.
