Is there any hope/will there also be support for the New 3DS? I noticed there's going to be for the New 3DS XL but didn't see just the New 3DS listed which is what I have.

They have not said anything about the regular sized N3DS. They will only have cards for the following models:

Original DS
Regular 3DS
New 3DS XL
