Does the Original 3DS capture card still add that extra bottom panel that sticks out like in the pictures?
At this point, with all the waiting, I'm almost considering going for that instead of waiting on N3DSXL, but I'd need to be able to use a circle pad pro, which I'm assuming would be impossible if that extra panel is still there.
If anyone who's gotten one recently could chime in, that would be great. :)

Re: Original 3DS capture card still bulky like pictures?
What i like about Loopy's design with the backplate is that the capture cards do tend to get hot overtime, but the placement seperates from both the mainboard and the capture board itself and has proper insulation.
From what ive seen in Let's plays, the Circle pad pro, IS POSSIBLE TO USE, youll just have to do some dremel cutting to fit the capture board inside, though its difficult as damaging the circuit board of the CPP is highly possible if not careful

I believe that the boards do not stick out anymore, according to previous posts even a couple years ago. The N3DS XL boards won't be bulky either when they release.
