I'm in Ireland, and I wanna buy an original DS with a capturecard installed, but I'm hesitant to buy one directly from the website because I don't want to get a US model that won't work with my EU games, I know the 3DS has region locks, is this the case with the original DS, and if so would it be possible for me to order an EU model with capcard?

The DS was not region locked afaik.
