"3DS Capture firmware needs to be updated. Push Start to begin."
"!! DO NOT disconnect the 3DS while update is running!!"
This comes up whenever I try to start the 3DS Capture software.
If I hit Cancel, it closes the software.
If I hit Start, it creates a window called Error (318) with the text, "Failed!"
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, do you know how to fix it?

How long have you been using it? Did it just start doing that out of the blue, or did you re-download the software? The software doesn't check for updates online, and there hasn't been a new version for quite a while. In case you're not using it, get the latest version that's on the website.

I'd been using the software for about two months before this with no ill effects.
It just started doing that out of the blue, with no warning.
BUT!
Good news! I downloaded the version on the website, and - while it also demanded an update - it actually allowed me to download said update, and now works BETTER than the original version. So if anyone else is having this problem, give what I did a try!
If you're having trouble finding what I did, just click on http://3dscapture.com/3ds_capture.3.2.zip <--- that link and download and run the software, and you should be golden! I hope.
