XSplit not detecting my capture card.
XSplit not detecting my capture card.
So I upgraded to Windows 8 yesterday, and now my 3DS Capture Card doesn't appear on the list of capture cards (see here: http://imgur.com/scyvqnW)
The driver for that is installed, I have said program, but why is Xsplit not detecting it?

My mascot's avatar is too big of a file size to use. Oh well.
Re: XSplit not detecting my capture card.
Does the program show the captured screen? if so it's an issue with xsplit else follow the following.Gearhart wrote:So I upgraded to Windows 8 yesterday, and now my 3DS Capture Card doesn't appear on the list of capture cards (see here: http://imgur.com/scyvqnW)

If it does not show the captured data with the program on the site it's best you refollow installation steps after uninstalling things.
That's at least what I can recommend.
Re: XSplit not detecting my capture card.
Yes it does, it just wasn't plugged in at the time. The other thing is if I choose to record a screen region it does show up, but then what comes up in xsplit is frozen.PascalH wrote:Does the program show the captured screen? if so it's an issue with xsplit else follow the following.Gearhart wrote:So I upgraded to Windows 8 yesterday, and now my 3DS Capture Card doesn't appear on the list of capture cards (see here: http://imgur.com/scyvqnW)

Are you using the latest software 3dsviewer, xsplit?
Re: XSplit not detecting my capture card.
I think I was using a different version (it was labeled "3ds_capture20141009) the one on the site doesn't work either. Xsplit is fully updated.

Re: XSplit not detecting my capture card.
Last thing I can suggest uninstall the capture card driver in windows and let it reinstall by putting the usb in and out.Gearhart wrote:I think I was using a different version (it was labeled "3ds_capture20141009) the one on the site doesn't work either. Xsplit is fully updated.

Can you first see if the program itself shows the game data? (so not xsplit?)
