ds capture audio problem

Post by loafofbread13 » Sat Aug 27, 2016 4:37 pm

i have been having issues with trying to record audio with my DS, there is a popping sound along with the audio and im not sure what is causing it. I'm not sure what details to include, any help is appreciated. I recorded a bit just to demonstrate the problem. https://youtu.be/Gd2FktlFH2k

I'm going to hazard a guess and say you need a new audio cable. Either that or the audio jack isn't fully inserted in to the DS due to the small overhand of the upper shell.

I actually had a similar issue though mine was much worse than yours. A new audio cable sorted it for me.

You can try a different audio port, cable, or also check your settings. I was having a weird watery noise effect for some game music and found that there was an audio setting in windows that was trying to help with noise-canceling or "audio enhancement" in the Advanced tab. Once I unchecked it, it made things sound right again! Good luck!
