Broken 3DS, Board is Fine?

Post by BlackLightAttack » Fri Nov 11, 2016 12:14 pm

Hey guys!

I'm a streamer and loved my 3DS cap board which I've had for a while. Unfortunately the 3DS itself has started to go - first the R button stopped responding, which I tried to fix myself. While I was in there, I must have torn a ribbon because I was then experiencing the 3DS "popping" issue, where the console won't turn on. I tried a last-ditch effort to fix THAT based on an online tutorial, and not only did I not fix the popping issue, I clean tore the L button's ribbon! Clearly, I'm not cut out for this.

So now I have a 3DS that's totally tanked and a cap board that's presumably fine. Is there anything I can do with this? I have another 3DS, am I able to contact Loopy to send it in with the board? I see he's not accepting orders so I don't want to assume he's available at the moment. Any suggestions?

Hi
The button cables does not matter, even if they are not connected.
Popping sound comes normally from not connected/broken display cables or the WiFi-Module.
Check them...
