Due to issues with my hard drive, I had to get a new one and move everything over from my old hard drive to this new one. Now that everything has been moved over, I've been trying to get everything set up so I can record and stream my 3DS again. However, whenever I open the 3DS capture software, the volume slider is not available, so I am unable to ever hear an game volume.

I've tried option installing the DirectX Runtime that you mention on your main page of your website specifically for this issue. However, because I have Windows 10, I cannot install what you link to since my DirectX is version 12. I can't understand why it's not working to begin with as it worked without any issues on my old hard drive and that also had Windows 10. But no matter what I try, I cannot get it to work in any way whatsoever.

I've tried to look up all sorts of things but nothing that I've tried works. I've even tried just downloading the capture software again but that still doesn't work. I'm at a complete loss for what I can do to solve this since the method you provide for this exact issue isn't even an option for me. I'm getting extremely frustrated and I have nowhere else to go at this point to ask how to solve this.
