I have a katsukity 3ds capture card, and the bottom screen won't capture, I bought it second hand off a friend after he was having trouble with the USB port being lose and having it fixed, however after the fixing the bottom screen won't capture on the bottom screen, the top screen is just fine and captures perfectly.

I'm wondering if it's something internal with the USB connection on the circuit board or if it's some setting or something I can change to make it work.

Thank you for any advice you can give.

It is nothing with the USB port, there are two possibilities:
1. the ribbon (flex-cable) got ripped in a bit so the traces are broken and only transfer the upper or lower part.
2. the soldering at the contact points got off and does not transfer the information

In both ways, there is nothing you might be able to fix yourself.
If you/somebody fixed the USB port, then you lost Katsukity's warranty.
What region are you?

USA, would there be a type of place that could fix said problems? I'd rather not spend another 200-500 USD on a new capture card, especially since Loopy isn't taking offers atm.
