Graphics Card Drivers Crash While Recording

Post by TomFawkes » Sun Jan 13, 2013 2:50 am

I have an AMD Radeon HD 7970. Whenever I'm recording, whether using Fraps, Bandicam, or the built in video recorder, my graphics card drivers just fail and the video recording bugs up. I've tried reinstalling my drivers, updating the 3DS Capture software, updating Fraps, but nothing I've tried has yielded any results. Doctor got a cure for this ailment?

More details?
When does it fail? As soon as you start up the capture app? When you push record? Or does it happen sometime later?

I don't know if it'll help, but you can give this a try. It's meant to be the next software update but it still needs some testing. I suppose you can call this the "beta" release.

Thanks for the Beta. I'll let you know if it works. It happens any time between 15 seconds to 2 minutes after I start recording. Thing is, I've recorded at least a dozen times with this graphics card and this issue is only starting now.

EDIT: It doesn't crash when it usually does, but I only recorded for about 5 minutes. I'll keep you updated when I record for a more extended period of time.
