Securing the battery better?

Post by hacky » Thu Feb 21, 2013 9:44 pm

First off, just received my 3ds with capture card. Got it working, looks smooth, and I'll be putting it through its paces more in the next few days. Thank you!

I noticed (by accident), that if I tap firmly the bottom right of the 3DS, it loses power. I'm guessing it's just the battery momentarily coming loose, as it's about in that location. Is there anything you would recommend to help keep the battery more firmly in place?

EDIT: It's actually a pretty trivial issue for me since I'd probably always use it with an AC adapter connected, but if you have any thoughts, it would be nice. :D

Didn't the back Cover already deal with this problem?
If not, then try taping it.

Hmm.. you could try wedging something in there between the battery and the case, like a folded up wad of paper (?)

Tried a folded up business card, it's a bit more secure. I can probably put a bit more too.

Non-issue when connected via AC adapter, but thanks for the responses. The capture card itself works great!
