If you provided instructions on how to replace the ends on the extension cables, I could also do it myself.

really looking forward to this, I think I'll wait for both this and 3DS capture card to work with the new 3DS and purchase both at the time with via Tecd0c.

anyway to make it so the wii classic controller D-pad simulates the 3DS left analogue stick? this is so I could play bravely default with D-pad fully, I can only assume battles work with D pad but not for controlling characters in the field.

and when ordered, do I have to pick my controller type and stick to it, and the only way to change the controller type is by opening it up and changing the connector.

I think I would go for wii classic controller, it has the best right analogue stick, although I don't like the placement of the left analogue stick if I could re-map it to the left analogue stick I'd be happy to use that.

Picture dump over here:

I made some minor changes to various button combos and updated the instructions I wrote up here - viewtopic.php?p=9243#p9243

You guys like to make things complicated :P I can do that, but I've already shipped some out to Tecd0c so those won't have it.

You don't need to open it up to change types, the connectors are removable.

The analog sticks can be swapped.

?? The wii classic controller doesn't have left/right stick clicks. Playstation does, you can bind those.

I haven't tested the wii classic pro controller, but I think it should work.
[edit] It works.

Loopy,

Can you show us what points we need to avoid with wires if we were to get a capture card installed later? I assume if we run the wires in the wrong place it ill interfere with the ribbon for the capture card? I'm referring specifically to the XL model.
