Dear loopy and all, I made a thread a while ago about the Circle pad pro emulation giving me a lot of trouble, i believed i fixed the issue but now it has returned, and this is with a second controller mod chip!

There is nothing wrong with my soldered connections, I have found myself opening up my 3DS to replace the wire every so often or touch up the solder to get the emulation on test point 255 to get it to work again, to the then stop working again. So I replaced the old chip with a new chip i bought, to find it still yield the same result, any point in buying a third chip?

If this a design flaw in the chip due to the smash bros c stick function of direction+a for the right analogue stick? how do i cut this off?

I have spent a lot of money and time on this and if it's not doing what it's suppose to, then I have wasted my time, i was also looking forward to the caputure card for the 3DS XL, but at this rate i wont be willing to fork out for it.

I am willing to show images of my soldering work to prove i have the right connections, can someone please give me an answer this time because my last thread was ignored.

No response, maybe if this was a thread asking for the next capture card it would be easy to reply with "coming soon".

24 hours hadn't even passed since your OP.

Not everyone checks this forum at every hour, including Loopy and others who have messed with the controller mod. Hopefully someone gets back to you soon. I can't offer any other advice other than to try to email Loopy.

I made a thread about these issues ages ago, it was ignored.

I believe the chips to be faulty with the smash bros mode overriding the circle pad pro emulation

And i have emailed loopy twice.

Hopefully some of the other forum users who have experience with modding the controller mod chip can help. Loopy's EU partner (who offers controller mod installs) comes by on occasion when he can.
