Besides that, how well does the board and capture/viewing software work? The horror stories about Katuskity boards scare me and I just want to make sure it works great with no problems.

oh wow, i personally have never had a problem with katsukity. I didn't even know there was a problem with or other people were experiencing them.

I have had, and been using mine since 2015. the only real problem i had was where to find the capture software that was my biggest pet peeve. (took me about 10 minutes till i found it finally lol)

for me it was just plug and play! (took a matter 15 seconds the software capture and xsplit!) plug it in if you have an external viewing source to capture game-play i.e (xsplit, obs, wirecast .....) of course you won't need xsplit obs or any of that if you aren't streaming! and you don't need xsplit or obs to even use it!

I'm looking for a 3ds that I can use to record/stream gameplay. I'm interested in buying. If there can be video proof that it connects to pc then I have money in paypal ready to transfer.
