Recording Just 3DS Audio?

Hello! I recently got my 3DS capture card back. I am trying to capture just the audio from the 3DS, and not the rest of my desktop audio. I've read some stuff about virtual audio cables, but don't really understand how to set one up to just take the sound input from the 3DS Capture application (if that's even possible). Is that possible to do? I'm hoping to be able to record just the 3DS audio in both the 3DS Capture application, and in OBS. Please let me know. Thanks!
