Circle Pad Repair on a Capture Modded 2011 3DS?

Hello! I've got a 3DS with a 3DS Capture board that I had installed a few years back. It's worked perfectly for me ever since! Recently, though, I accidentally spilled some water on it while trying to wipe the screens, which I assume is what's causing the issue -- The circle pad now registers an eternal "up" input.

I'm nowhere near able to repair this myself, even before thinking about the capture mod. I know this may be a long shot, but is anybody in contact with someone who would be willing and able to service the console? I've had this thing since it launched, and I had to slowly save up money as a teenager to buy it, so it has a lot of sentimental value to me. Along with the fact it has the capture board installed, it would truly suck to have to just buy a new 3DS!
I'm willing to ship it out and cover any fees, etc. If anyone has any leads, please reach out!
