Sorry to post what seems like a fairly common problem but looking around the forum, I haven't been able to find a working solution. I just received my New 3DS XL back today (thanks!) and everything displays just fine on the 3DS Capture software, audio plays through the PC speakers without any probs (and the volume slider is visible), etc. But when I try to record video using the 3DS Capture software, it doesn't pick up the audio. I tried recording through OBS instead, but same issue.
I'm wondering if I'm screwing up something obvious? I have an audio cable going out of the 3DS headphone jack and into the PC's Line In but no dice. I've done this setup before with a friend's 3DS (his was a Katsukity I think) and it worked without issue. So I feel like the cables/connections themselves shouldn't be the issue. Any ideas?
