Nice to know there is a native linux version of capture software :)

Probably very unlikely, but would katsukity's card work?
Would you also keep this up-to-date for new-rev boards that loopy makes for XL/NN3DS?

With most steam games now working on linux, among other things, jumping ship from windows to linux is becoming more tempting :)

If have to admit, I don't really know how different katsuikitys cards work, on a usb-level. If they react the same, the software will work. If not, it won't. That goes for other capture-software too: If loopys capture software works with katsuikitys boards, mine will probably too. I would be highly interested in knowing the answer, too, and will check with some friends who I believe own katsuikity-boards. But maybe someone else on this forum will know the answer. Probably loopy?

I might update my software to newer boards, I would like to, but I'll need to talk to loopy about that. It's hard to program software for special hardware without access to that hardware. But I do consider updating the software.

[EDIT:] I just got an answer regarding katsukitys boards: Loopys software doesn't work with them so mine most likely will not work, either.

Question for you:

What recording software do you use for the CuteCapture?

I don't really record videos but I do livestreams. OBS Multiplatform works fine with C3C, but any recordingsoftware will do the job.

By the way, I have talked to loopy about audio-capturing and will have I look at it when I've got a little more time. It might take some time to implement this feature, but I'll definitely try to get it running.

So based off your last response, I'm assuming theres no native support for sound? Is that correct. I ask because im expecting to get my 3ds back later today :)

For the moment there is no support for audio via USB, but I asked Loopy how it is done. I will implement this feature eventually, but I can't tell you how long it will take as I am currently busy :(
