XL, 2DS, New 3DS, etc

I have an old, original model 3DS that is somewhat worn out, but is loopy still going to make capture cards for those? If not, should I just buy a New 3DS XL instead? I see ones with the Mario Kart 7 bundle at Best Buy for $149.99. I have a feeling if I don't act now, those 3DSs are going to be gone later this year. What do you guys think? Just stick with the original model 3DS in hopes of loopy making capture cards for those, or just get the New 3DS XL since those are most likely ones people are using nowadays for 3DS gaming?

I also have concerns on whether I can play Last Window: The Secret of Cape West on the New 3DS XL. It's a EU game that I've always been meaning to stream for a long time. Will a NA region New 3DS XL be able to play this game for me to stream it when loopy is ready to mod them?

Maybe get one just in case. But be warned the 3ds is region locked, a na 3ds plays na specific games. Their is cfw to remove region lock, but thats all i am gonna say as i don't wanna break any rules.

I thought they meant it was a 3ds game well if it is a ds game they should be fine.

Sorry, I should have clarified that Last Window is a DS game. Yes, my original model 3DS was able to play it, but I was not sure about the New 3DS XL being able to play the game as well. So if DS games are able to be played on all 3DS models, then that answers my question. Thank you, everyone.
