XL, 2DS, New 3DS, etc

I actually had retired my old original Loopy 3DS back when I got a New 2DS XL capture board from Katsukity last year. Mainly it was because I feared that my old 3DS was on its last legs as it's already missing the rubber for the control stick. I tried connecting the N2DSXL to my computer today and it won't work now after the latest Windows 10 update. So looks like the Loopy card is coming out of retirement.

Holy moly. Can anyone else confirm?

I have a New 3DS XL capture card from Katsukity (though Merki was the one to install it). Can confirm that as of Windows 10 1809 with all the latest update that it is still working without issues with the 3DS Viewer software.

The newer versions of the katsukity card doesn't need the code entered. I've used it before on windows. Not sure if I used it on the mac.

Not true, initially you do not have to enter it, but the software will after a random time ask for it and store it at the registry…
This is mainly made for the installation. After installing the technican has to test the unit, does not make sense that you have to look up the key for the device you are just going to use once and send out to the customer..

Yeah seems my Katsukity Board must have just died I guess, as it will not even recognize the capture device on any computer I plug it into. I'm guess my sister messed with it since when she took to play Mario Kart DS it stopped working once I got it back. I don't do 3DS games too frequently so I barely found out that it doesn't work yesterday. I'm rather sad since it really only ever got used for one project and that was Luigi's Mansion 3DS. Luckily I still have my original Loopy Card from back in 2013/2014 that works like a champ so there's that, but I wish I could get the Katsukity one repaired. Oh well, win some you lose some I guess.

It's probably the usb port solder joints coming out. Get a multi meter and test continuity.
