I'm super excited I'd love to send in my old 3DS XL to mod for capture!

Nope, no update and afaik he doesn't advertise on any other social media. We just have to wait for him to post again.

Really hoping I can get my hands on one of the 3dsxl boards he has! I have a friend who sends hers out to Japan but I'm really hoping I won't have to do that.

Loopy is still working on the software, but there are pictures of how the capture card will look in another thread and on Merki's site.

Just a thought but wouldn't it be incredibly easier to just have hdmi out? That way you could just run the hdmi cable to a capture card or directly to a display so you could play 3ds/ds games in 2d on a big screen. Hopefully just using hdmi out would also eliminate almost all of the lag as well so you could play and enjoy it.
