3DS Application keeps crashing

I don't know what's going on. Whenever I run OBS, i'll have it set to record the Top Screen, and then it will pick up the bottom screen, then the 3DS application crashes. Does anyone else have this problem? if so, anyone know how to fix it?

Try minimizing the bottom screen.
