3DS isn't read

My 3DS Capture Board has been working since I got it a few years ago, but I plugged it back in today to discover it flickered for a few minutes at a time, and now it's completely dead. I used multiple USB cords, reset my computer, my 3DS, and even used different software and drivers, but it still isn't working. Anyone have any solutions?

Try removing the back cover and seeing if the ribbon cable is loose or disconnected would probably be the best first step. I assume the 3DS itself and everything else works normal?
