Need help with reducing lag and increasing fps when streamin

When streaming to youtube trough snickerstream, I get barely around 15 fps, and a laggy stream. I've tried changing the quality settings to not much effect. I have sound hooked up to the stream trough an aux cord, which runs into a splitter that connects my headphones aswell. What can I do to reach as high in fps and lag reducing as i can?
