MicroUSB Port issues

I've been using my 3DS with a board from here for a few years now, and it's starting to give me issues. The video comes in static with colour issues galore, however audio comes through loud and clear. If I wiggle the connection, it seems to still work. I'm pretty sure the connection to the MB is loosening (I took a look myself and that's the conclusion I came to at least), but I'd rather have opinions from people that know a bit more than myself. I'll see later today if I can get video of it. Thanks in advance
