I only ask because I’ve been turning all of my USB devices into USB C (with breakout boards, you know). I wouldn’t dare try to modify one of these boards like that.
I understand that it would probably increase the price of the boards by a bit. But considering the reversibility, and how USB C cables tend to be higher quality than other USB cables, I personally wouldn’t mind paying extra for that.
Of course, I’m not expecting anything. I was just curious if this was at all a possibility.
Have you considered designing some boards to be USB type C instead of micro USB?
