As a side note, I'm having a few of Loopy's controller mod boards manufactured, and plan on selling some systems with an Optimize capture card along with the controller mod board soon. I'll also try and use USB-C breakout boards for both ports with a male USB-C connector for the controller cable. Essentially a recreation of thishttps://www.ebay.com/itm/255032306630 listing, but without the, uh... $1,900 price tag, especially since I've gotten more comfortable with the installs.

According to a post from Loopy in this forum a while ago, some computer USB ports can't output enough power to handle charging the 3DS and capture output from the same cable, so I guess I'll see how that goes.

I'm not used to prices of 3ds capture cards but $1,400 definitely doesn't sound right

Prices are pretty ridiculous right now. 3DS capture cards, both Loopy's and Katsukity's, have sold for thousands on eBay. And a quick look at those shows that those don't include the now out-of-production controller mod. I will admit that I'm taking advantage of the current market for them, but I don't think anyone's spending their month's rent on this. Hopefully.
