Is it possible to mail in a 3DS with a partially installed capture card

I'm a bit of an idiot and got confident thinking that I could do the installation myself, unfortunately I realized too late how annoying the internals of a 3DS can be and ended up breaking some things in the process and had to send it in to be repaired

Would it be possible to mail in the 3DS with the capture board and have the installation be finished by someone who actually knows what they're doing, to avoid breaking anything again, or am I just kind of screwed?
