Question about capture card availability

This might be a dumb question, but I was interested in placing an order for my 3ds but saw that the order page says New3DSXL installation.
Just wondering if it was specifically only the new3dsxl were accepted right now or if my 3dsxl would be acceptable!

Only N3DSXL installs are available right now.

pretty sure loopy has never sold capture cards for the "old" 3DS XL (SPR model numbers). only the original 3DS (CTR) and the New 3DS XL (RED). there is a capture card that exists for the 3DS XL (and some other people out there who would install it) but it's not made by loopy
