Region Specific?

Hello!

I am having trouble finding a decent price for an American New3DSXL, but have found quite a few reasonable prices for the Japanese version, the New3DSLL. Does this latest capture card work on both systems?

Region does not matter. A Japanese New 3DS XL is fine.
