Capture Card on regular 3DS XL

I was wondering if the capture cards would work and fit properly on a regular 3DS XL or only on the New 3DS XL?

I took am wondering this. The order page seems to only mention the New 3ds XL but wasn't sure a regular XL could use this mod. The page also doesn't mention the New 3ds LL, but from my understanding those can use the new mod. Anyone put one in their regular 3ds XL?

The mod Loopy currently sells is for New 3DS XL (and LL) only. Not for regular 3DS XL. Hope this clarified it!
