I can't say for the Mac Version yet, but the already existing one has no delay.
However, when recording, it does lag a tiny little bit, but the Video is lag-free.

Re: Mac version?
If it'll all work out the way I hope, it's just a matter to translate Windows-specific commands to Mac, or more preferably, platform independed, and I'd need to redesign the GUI, but I think I'll go on a different path with it.

Re: Mac version?
Not right now, as I first want to make it Mac compatible first. To accomplish it, I need to replace a few stuff, like Video for Windows must become some MP4 API (and I can't find a decent one), and DirectX needs to become OpenGL. If that's done, then I'll port it to OS X, as DirectX and VFW are the ...

Meanwhile, we had it successfully working on DirectX 9 (the App runs on 8), there aren't re...

Re: Mac version?
Cross-platform isn't really easy, but it's still no miracle.
I remember how my Software Architecture and Design teacher even managed to make his Nintendo DS game natively running on a PC, without changing his Code at all.
All he did, was make his game use no single (platform-specific) Header file.

Re: Messing With The Settings On The Recorder
By default, everything is already on Max Quality.
The only settings there are, are which Codec you can use, choose path to save in, and mute Audio from the Line-In Cable.

Read the last sentence, as I've already answered your question.
But I'll show a more n00b-proof Version.
