Obs stutter problem with n3dsxl capture card

I don't know where to ask this question so I'll start here, but I've been having a problem where the capture card itself looks fine normally but when I try to display it on obs, the video and audio get all glitchy and stutter a lot and I don't know how to fix it, could anyone help?

FYI: It's usually an issue with USB cables and/or ports.
Try changing both.
