It was made with Claude. The Mac is a wildly underserved platform for this kind of utility. This wouldn't exist and help people if I didn't have the idea to direct a tool to build DDDS for myself and the community. "Because I could never build this. I could never afford to hire someone to build this. No one else would make this app. I am in a niche of a niche of a niche here. I think this app has immense value to others besides me though. Claude Code is a remarkable coding tool for someone like me. It sounds like a remarkable tool to my friends that do programming too.

It absolutely was only possible because of the work of Lorenzooone and others for cc3dsfs. Their video core for the 3DS capture mod is the beating heart of this app. I had Claude build the Mac body around it with the sensibilities a Mac user would expect. This is a tool I have wanted for ages and I was able to use another tool to make it a reality. I think that is pretty powerful and pretty cool."

I'm sorry if this disappoints or upsets anyone. I hope this app does help. It's already helped me tremendously.

I appreciate the honesty. I was so excited for an all-in-one app for Mac that I didn't think to scroll down far enough to see the AI use disclaimer. That does put a sour taste in my mouth, but I also understand that you had the best of intentions when using it. I hope that you are able to take some time to learn programming and eventually work towards replacing the generated code with your own stuff. You don't have to replace it all right away, but I would love to see the day when you can declare that the code is 100% made by humans. I'm still going to try out the software and give you feedback, as I want to be a source of encouragement rather than condemnation. In the meantime, please start to learn how to get into computer science and the negative impacts that Generative AI has had on the world. If there are any updates to this software, please let me know so I can give you feedback!
