Capture Card for 2DS?
So, uh, yeah. It's real... >.>

Would a capture card fit in this thing? Looks awkward from the pictures.

I'm laughing at that thing way more than I should be.

Aw...I was about to make a topic on this ;c
But yeah it looks like a slice of cake - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sAExBTWIp3M (that dislike bar...)
Loopy must buy 2 of these and see how much room there actually is within this thing (being that there's actually plenty of room on the XL compared to the normal 3DS).

Re: Capture Card for 2DS?
this would actually be really good for a "designated capture console"
you could keep your main 3ds more slim and portable, and keep this one near your computer for game capturing.

Re: Capture Card for 2DS?
I disagree. My 3DS fulfills both roles perfectly. Getting a 2DS with capture board + 3DS is an expensive solution for a non-problem.someonewhodied wrote:you could keep your main 3ds more slim and portable, and keep this one near your computer for game capturing.
The 2DS is great if you don't need 3D (my 3DS is constantly in 2D mode, I wouldn't mind leaving that feature out for a cheaper console) and don't mind it not being portable (which I suspect is the reason why the 2DS isn't foldable - the console isn't a handheld, so those who want one are forced to buy the more expensive 3DS).
If you can afford a 3DS or already have one, buying a separate 2DS is really stupid IMO.
Re: Capture Card for 2DS?
Yea looking at this, who is going to buy one? Sure it is a cheaper alternative to the 3DS, but you are missing features. If someone where to buy one over a 3DS they lose portability as the thing does not fold in half; You would have to carry it in a bag of some sort to take it anywhere. Why did they not include a second slide pad they obviously are not concerned about the size of the handheld. They also include two cameras on the back so 3D photos are still able to be taken just not able to be displayed until transferred to a 3DS, so you need a 3DS to view these photos. Also it has one speaker so it outputs in mono until headphones are plugged in it will play in stereo.

Re: Capture Card for 2DS?
The design, the two outer cameras, and the mono sound are my only real complaints. Other than that, I suppose it's fine.
So, how do I solve that puzzle in Phantom Hourglass where I have to shut my DS?

There is a slider that simulates closing the 3DS and puts it to sleep mode.MithrilMonarch wrote:The design, the two outer cameras, and the mono sound are my only real complaints. Other than that, I suppose it's fine.

Oh, I see. I thought that only put it into sleep mode, I didn't know that it completely simulated closing the 3DS.
